The Blind Field Shuttle (performance)

The Blind Field Shuttle is a non-visual walking tour in which Carmen Papalia leads groups of up to 50 people through urban and rural environments. Participants close their eyes throughout the journey in order to perceive their surroundings in new and exciting ways. The Blind Field Shuttle has been conducted as part of engagements in Portland OR, Beach Lake PA, Oakland CA, San Francisco CA, and will appear as part of the “What Can a Body Do” exhibition at the Canter Fitzgerald Gallery at Haverford College in October 2012.
